Music and Arts are wonderful forms of worship that have the ability to help lead us into the presence of God. Here at Hope Point Nazarene we have many gifted people and enjoy many forms of the arts during our services for that very reason. We have one goal in mind - to help you forget the week and focus on the One who gave us life. Contact us at the church office to find out how you can get involved in any of these areas.

Choir

Love to sing? Here's your opportunity to join this integral part of the praise time during our weekly services. The choir also performs special programs for Easter and Christmas. Practice is every Thursday from 7-8:30pm in the FLC Choir Room - just show up - we would love to have you!

Decorating Team

This team makes things beautiful for our weekend services. They are responsible for working with the team to transform the Family Life Center to match the theme of the message. If decorating is your passion, this ministry is a great place for you!

Drama Team

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Are you a budding actor? This team uses their talents to portray characters for skits, announcements, commercials, and special events throughout the year.

Media Duplication

This ministry is crucial for our services because it allows us to record the message on CDs and DVDs and duplicate them so members of the body can purchase them to send to others who might be shut in, deployed overseas, or for some other reason can't make it to church.

Praise Band and Vocalists

Miss playing that instrument you love so much? Here's your chance to dust it off! If you want to get into the mix on Sundays, call Ray Benesh to schedule an audition at 671-1130. Practice is every Thursday from 6-7pm in the Sanctuary. Praise team vocalists must join the choir before moving to the praise team.

Sound, Lighting & Video

Ever wanted to get behind the scenes? These are separate rotating teams that you can join to serve on Saturdays, Sundays, during either of the youth groups, and/or special events. Experience is not necessary since one on one training is available, but the ability to stay focused is a must!
