Children

The Hope Point Children's Ministry Team is committed to guiding children and encouraging families on their journey with Jesus. Our mission is to:

• Help each child learn God's Word and lead them to discover how to apply it to their everyday life.
• Offer opportunities for children and their families to serve within our church and our community.
• Provide quality teachers who love God, are positive examples, and who create a safe, loving, fun and secure environment in which to teach children.
• Encourage children to worship God through song, prayer and actions and to grow in their faith.

Elementary

1st - 5th grade children will enjoy the upbeat Kidz Church with fun music, skits, and lessons - all leading to a closer relationship with Jesus. Smaller age-based classes allow more individualized instruction with time for discussion and applying biblical truths in young lives.

Nursery & Childcare

A combination of paid staff and volunteers provide care for children younger than two years during our services, special events and activities throughout the week. Our workers strive to show them the love of Jesus and pagers are provided so that we can reach you easily during the service.

Preschool & Kindergarten

Age-appropriate activities, music, and Bible lessons with lots of hands-on learning start building basic truths about God, Jesus, the Bible, prayer, and the church into young lives. Three, four and five year-olds are the perfect age to begin the timeless lessons taught by our loving Children's Ministry team.

Special Needs

In Mark 16:15 Jesus said "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation." Jesus commanded us to reach everyone. His sacrifice was for every soul, including those with disabilities. We offer classes at each service but contact Stacy to confirm that our specialized staff will be available. We also offer a buddy for those who need extra assistance to be successful in their age appropriate class at all services. We also offer child care during the monthly Kid's Night Out and VBS events for all children. Your child is special and we want to treat them that way so feel free to join us and sit in for a week or two and see that we are a place for people like you - and your kids!

Various Activities

Club 45 is for all 4th & 5th graders.  We meet in the Lighthouse sanctuary every Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8:00pm for a fun night of games, snacks and a lesson from God's word.

Kidz Nite Out / Parents' Date Nite usually occurs on the second Friday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A variety of activities occur in the Family Life Center for children 3 years through 5th grade, while nursery/childcare for younger kids is available in the Family Life Center. Children should be fed before Date Night. Parents must check in their children and provide a cell phone number or emergency contact reachable during the activity. Occasionally, Date Night is changed to another week to avoid conflicts with holidays and scheduled church activities.

Vacation Bible School, Sports Camp, Summer Camps, Jr. Bible Quizzing, Kidz Choir and additional special events and activities are offered throughout the year.
