Celebrate Recovery at Hope Point Nazarene

Fellowship, Anonymity, and God's Healing Grace...

You’ve undoubtedly heard the expression “Time heals all wounds.” Unfortunately, it isn’t true. Pastors frequently talk with people who are still carrying hurts from thirty or forty years ago. The truth is, time often makes things worse. Wounds that are left untended fester and spread infection throughout your entire body, family and other relationships. Time only extends the pain if the problem isn’t dealt with.

The purpose of the Celebrate Recovery® is to allow you to become free from life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits. By working through the eight recovery principles found in the Beatitudes with Jesus Christ as your Higher Power, you can and will change! You will begin to experience the true peace and serenity you have been seeking, and you will no longer have to rely on your dysfunctional, compulsive, and addictive behaviors as a temporary “fix” for your pain.

By applying the biblical principles of conviction, conversion, surrender, confession, restitution, prayer, quiet time, witnessing, and helping one another, which are found within the eight principles and the Christ centered 12 steps, you will restore and develop stronger relationships with others and with God.

Are you struggling with anger, depression, resentment, addictive patterns with drugs, alcohol, food or relationships? Does the fear of these things keep you from moving forward in the freedom and new life that Christ died to give you? Then Celebrate Recovery® is the place for you!

What’s mastering you? The Bible says a man is a slave to what has mastered him…come to CR and find freedom, healing, and restored relationships.

ANYONE can participate in CR

  • Anyone ready to start a new life
  • The churched and the un-churched
  • Men and women
  • The addicted and their families
  • The guilty, sad, or compulsive
  • Anyone in need of recovery

CR Leaders

Celebrate Recovery is conducted by Christians who have been through 12-step recovery themselves. They understand.
Many have been dealt tragic blows in their lives. Our choices cause painful and lingering consequences, leading to guilt, remorse, grief, and shame. These individuals can truly understand and lead others.

Secrets of Successful Recovery

Perhaps you are wondering why Celebrate Recovery is so successful in hundreds of churches across the land. There are three reasons why this approach is special:

  1. Jesus Christ is the “Higher Power”.
  2. Issue Groups are led by real people who have been through recovery with Him.
  3. The Principles and methods applied are built upon Biblical truths.
